REVIEW: Simple Kind To Skin

Skin scrubs and other such products are a huge battle for me considering how sensitive my skin is and how it reacts to basically everything i slap onto it. SO with that in mind I went shopping for skin products and picked up a bunch of Simple products. They have a variety of face washes/scrubs/cleansers/toners but these are just the ones i opted for, I'm probably gonna switch it up when it comes to any repurchasing (they have a facial scrub that i'm desperate to try out).

So I bought the full: face wash, cleanser, toner, moisturiser and the eye make-up remover.
First off: the Simple brand really kinda is what it claims to be, which is super super simple. I haven't reacted at ALL to the face wash and it makes your skin feel fresh and way clearer when you wash it all away. To use you just apply a lil bit to your fingers (wetting your face beforehand with cold water) and then massage into your skin and neck until it produces a lather. I then like to take a face cloth i've had soaking in my sink of hot water and wipe it all away!
The only issue I would say I have with this product is that because it is literally just a gel it doesn't FEEL as though anything is happening to my skin at the time, which I always like. Brands like Neutrogena are huge fans of the exfoliating crystals/balls which is always good (doesn't help that I'm 100% allergic to them though). And this reason is exactly why i'm so eager to try out the Simple exfoliating scrub!!

The Cleanser and the Toner. You just follow up the facial wash by applying a teeny tiny amount to a cotton pad and swipe all across your face, then doing the same with the toner. The only thing is, because i'm not very skin-product-savvy I didn't realise toner was an actual liquid like water-kinda liquid (shoot me). So obviously I almost shit myself when i poured toner all over and down my arms/clothes. Great. Which leads me to say that both these products are GREAT due to the fact you don't need to use very much of either for it to do it's job, a small amount really goes a long way, especially with the cleanser. I think they are around the £3 mark for a bottle, which personally i don't find very expensive at all. Skin wise, I had a few bumps under my eyes and on the very top of my forehead prior to using these products and now my skin is as smooooth as a baby's butt.

Okay so, the moisturiser and eye make-up remover. A moisturiser is a moisturiser what else can i say??? Apart from the fact that, like the cleanser, a lil bit goes a long way. I bought both products in the tiny bottles because I think I was travelling very soon after purchasing and I didn't wanna lug around 5 bottles of skincare stuff in my suitcase, really.
The eye make-up remover is, well, not true to it's label and really isn't that kind to my eyes. It burns. I'm not sure if a lot of people have experienced this and even for the first few times of using this product it was absolutely fine. However when I was travelling I would use this and start to notice irritation around my eyes which would worsen if I paid a ton of attention to it (i.e. closing/touching my eye area). It was pretty obvious which product was causing the distress and I have noooo idea as to why it's only this one that does so. I gave it to my sister and she's had no complaints but if you're a sensitive-skin kinda gal such as I am, STAY AWAY.

Thanks for reading! I hope this did you some favours and I totally recommend the Simple brand to anyone who's currently switching up their skincare products!
